Dinner at Ocean Tally
For a truly memorable end to your sailing day, consider dining at Ocean Tally in Whale Point. To the east, rocky cliffs and tide pools drop to the restless Atlantic. To the west, a spectacular sunset with Eventide at anchor in the calm harbour.
Chef Leonard prepares a daily varying selection featuring farm/sea to table. If you are staying in Harbour Island, private water taxi service is available. Dinner reservations are required, 359-7676.
On Your Way Home
Many guests drive up from Governor's Harbour or points south. On your way back, if the light is still good, stop for the view at the Glass Window Bridge. About 300 yards beyond, you will find a stone wall entrance to a footpath on the left, leading to a hidden gem - the Queen's Bath.
If you'd like dinner before a long drive, Daddy Joe's is about a mile past the bridge. Unca Gene's in the heart of Gregory Town is quick and casual, dine in or take out. Rainbow Inn just beyond Hatchet Bay offers fine dining and great views.
